Erwin Connell Ward, Jr.

Erwin C. Ward. Jr., passed away at home on Friday, March 18, 2022 after a brief illness.

He was born April 29, 1958 to Erwin Connell Ward and Dorothy Brennan Ward, at the Naval Hospital, Camp Pendleton, CA.  Erwin attended First Presbyterian Day School, Jackson Preparatory School, and received a BS degree from Belhaven University.  

After graduation he became a travel agent with Avoya Travel where he was recognized as the first $1 million agent of 2012.  As an independent agent in the Avoya Travel Network he was recognized as an outstanding travel consultant managing luxury cruises for corporate and group travel. During his career he received accolades for his knowledge, attention to detail, and his exceptional friendly helpfulness with all of his clients. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Erwin C. Ward, Sr.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy (Dot) Ward; brothers, Michael V. Ward (Amy); Kenneth C.Ward (Joy); niece,Virginia Ward Binkley (Will); nephew, Brennan Shipley Ward (Carley); and two great-nieces and a great-nephew, all of whom he loved very much.   He leaves many friends and business associates to cherish his memory.

There will be an inurnment in the family cemetery at a later date.
