Ellis serves as House Page

McClain Ellis of Madison recently served as a Page for the Mississippi House of Representatives.
Pages generally run errands for officials and House staff.
Ellis, 13, is the daughter of Sarah and Derrick Ellis.
She attends Germantown Middle School and was sponsored for the week by Representative Jill Ford (R – Madison).
When asked about the week, Ellis said, “It has been an honor to come here and serve for the state government.
I have met a lot of kind people here, and I’m so thankful that I had the opportunity to be a page.” Pictured, from left, are Representative Jill Ford, McClain Ellis and Speaker Philip Gunn.
