A Mississippi abortion case set to be heard before the U.S. Supreme Court this fall stands a real chance of ending or at least curbing the scourge of abortion on demand in America.

Half a century of judicial malpractice on abortion has undermined our democracy and resulted in the murder of millions of unborn babies.

Science has been pivotal in shifting many hearts and minds on abortion, but try telling that to a compassionate liberal Democrat hellbent, ironically, on the science of Climate Change.

When Roe was decided in 1973, justices could not comprehend that expectant parents would one day use sonograms to look at their unborn child’s hands and feet and see themselves in the face, Sen. Roger Wicker observes on this page in urging an end to Roe v. Wade.

We now know that the fetal heartbeat begins as early as six weeks and that an unborn child can feel pain at 20 weeks, if not earlier.

Where is the compassion among heartless liberals more concerned about free sex and convenience than a human life?

Banning most abortions after 15 weeks makes Mississippi’s law one of the toughest. Let’s hope the high court will use this case to end the scourge of abortion.
