Three men, including a member of the Canton Municipal Utilities Board, have been arrested after leading Sheriff’s deputies on a high-speed chase that started at Nissan, the authorities said.

Arrested were Glenn White, Kendrick Ratliff and Kelvish Nason. Each man has been charged with grand larceny and felony fleeing. Nason is a member of the CMU board.

According to spokesman Heath Hall, the Sheriff’s Office received a call at 8:47 p.m. on Dec. 17, stating that parts were being stolen from the Nissan North America facility in Canton.

Responding deputies located the suspect vehicle as it was leaving the Nissan plant campus and attempted to stop the vehicle.

The suspects led deputies on a pursuit to Highway 51 just north of the Links Apartments where they were stopped and the three subjects were arrested and charged.

All suspects have been released from the Madison County Detention Center, officials said.
