Classic cars, first-class service define The Station

The Station of Madison is a private event venue and classic car rental business located in Gluckstadt.

"We are an event venue open to host corporate lunches, community outreach events and adult birthday parties," Renee Bowman, who owns the venue with her husband, Jim.

The backdrop for the 10,000 square-foot space is a rotating selection of 10 classic cars that the Bowmans display on a rotating basis.

Other amenities include a game room with antique pinball machines and a lounge area.

They also offer a chauffeured car service using the classic European and American vehicles in their collection.

The space has been open since June.

Bowman said the event space evolved out of Jim's hobby with his late brother, Rick. They enjoyed restoring classic cars. The event space became a way to put that hobby to work.



"We really are a family business," Bowman said. "Me and my husband do a lot around here and we also bring in our sons A.J. and Kyle sometimes."

The venue also offers catering by Chef Frank Signa.

Upcoming events include the Christmas Cruise-In on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. Dinner, dessert and two free drinks are included with a $35 ticket per person.

The event includes live music, free pinball, corn hole and door prizes.
