Children’s Museum bringing New York to Mississippi

The Big Apple is coming to the Mississippi Children’s Museum next month for their biggest fundraising event of the year — Ignite the Night: New York State of Mind. 

Every February, adults are given permission to play after hours at the Mississippi Children’s Museum during its signature fundraising event, Ignite the Night. Each gallery comes to life with festive food, mesmerizing music, and amusing activities. Hosted by the Mississippi Children’s Museum Partners, a group of volunteers and donors who support the museum, this is not your typical party. It is imaginative, entertaining, and, most importantly, fun!

On February 12, MCM Partners invites grown-ups to take over the museum as Ignite the Night: New York State of Mind welcomes the museum’s biggest little kids to come take a bite out of the Big Apple in the heart of Jackson! Come dressed in your most Cosmopolitan of New York City style, enjoy entertainment by street performers and musicians and savor a variety of NYC’s finest culinary offerings. Be ready to bid on swanky silent auction items while strolling down Fifth Avenue, and be sure to peruse the beautiful art in our SoHo Artist’s Alley while you get a taste of New York City’s most exciting nightlife. After all, nothing beats a night out in NYC!
