Charles Henry Blackwell

Charles Henry Blackwell (Charlie), 96, passed away June 19, 2022 at The Home Place in Madison. 

Services were held June 22, 2022 at Parkway Funeral Home in Ridgeland, MS. 

Charlie was born on April 25, 1926 in Montrose, MS and lived in Jackson and Madison. 

After returning from navy service in World War II he worked as a carpenter, firefighter, realtor, property appraiser and owner of Cloverleaf Homes. 

He was preceded in death by his wife Ruby, his parents Jack and Alma Blackwell, his brother Corbin and sisters Hattie and Marie. 

Survivors include his sister Frances Lewis, brother Jack Blackwell, children Marcia Beach, Doug Blackwell (Marie) and Denise Blackwell Jones, grandchildren Terri Rowland, Michael Rowland, Tracy Rowland and Brayden Jones (Lindy) and great grandson Hayes Jones.
