Canton, NE Madison in the dark due to power outage

Nearly 4,000 Entergy Mississippi customers in Canton and northeast Madison County are currently without power following a substation outage in the area at approximately 4:37 p.m. today.
"There is a substation outage in that area," an Entergy spokesperson said. "Our crews are investigating the cause and working to restore power as quickly and safely as possible. The estimated restoration time is 7 p.m., however, that time may be updated as more information becomes available."
