The St. Joseph Catholic School marching band received a superior rating while the drumline and color guard received excellent ratings at the Midsouth Association of Independent Schools Marching Band Festival.
The festival took place Saturday, Oct. 19.
The Bruin band, drumline and color guard competed against six other schools including Jackson Academy, Jackson Prep and Starkville Academy.
It was the first time St. Joseph competed in the festival.
