Brownlee receives VFW Award

Michael Matthew Brownlee, left, an 11th grader at Madison-Ridgeland Academy, received an award from VFW Post 6809 for his Voice of Democracy Audio Essay on this year’s theme, “Is this the country the founders enviosned?” VFW Trace Ridgeland Post Quartermaster Steve Haller, right, presented the award.
