Blair Richard and Jeremy Phelps wed Oct. 3 in Texas
Blair Lynn Richard and Jeremy Manship Phelps were married on a beautiful late afternoon on October 3, 2020 at the Duchman Winery in Driftwood, TX. The wedding was held outdoors against a captivating backdrop of an elegant vineyard and breathtaking views.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russ Richard of New Iberia, LA and Mr. and Mrs. Matthew McKneely of North Richland Hills, TX. Her paternal grandparents are the late Patrick and Margaret Richard and her maternal grandparents are Maudrey Champagne and the late Harold Champagne of Breaux Bridge, LA.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven A. Phelps of Madison, MS. His paternal grandparents are Roxie Phelps and the late Manship Phelps of Ridgeland, MS. His maternal grandparents are the late Leo and Jewell Schwinler.
The bride and groom were joined by matron of honor Brittni Griffith of Northlake, TX and best man Aaron Clayton of Bella Vista, AR. In addition to numerous bridesmaids and groomsmen, the flower girl, Adeline Griffith and ring bearer, Jack Schemmel really stole the show. The bride’s brother, Brock Richard, officiated the wedding.
The bride is a graduate of Texas Woman’s University, Denton, TX where she received her Bachelor of Social Work. She received her Masters of Science and Social Work at the University of Texas at Arlington. She is employed as a Licensed Medical Social Worker for United Health Group.
The groom is a graduate of Mississippi State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology and graduated Cum Laude. He received an additional degree, Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Business Information Systems. He is employed as a Software Deployment Manager at Change Healthcare.
The couple took a “mini” moon to Austin, TX and reside in Northlake, TX. They are grateful to the family and friends who made the journey to make their day very special.
