Alianne Owen Bruce to wed Dylan Michael Dearman Oct. 16

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Todd Bruce of Madison announce the engagement of their daughter Alianne Owen Bruce to Dylan Michael Dearman, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Leroy Dearman of Hattiesburg.   

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Jerry Summerford of Jackson and Mrs. and Mrs. Donald Pinnix Bruce of Madison.  The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mrs. Sandra Mercer Bass and the late Mr. John Kent Bass, Sr. of Hattiesburg and Mr. and Mrs. Semian Matthew Dearman of Hattiesburg.   

Miss Bruce is a 2016 graduate of Madison Central High School. She then attended the University of Mississippi and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in nursing.  Currently, Miss Bruce is a staff registered nurse in the Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit at the Wallace Conerly Critical Care Hospital at UMMC.  

Mr. Dearman graduated from Presbyterian Christian High School in 2011with Special Honors. He then graduated Magna Cum Laude from Mississippi College in 2015 with a bachelor of business administration degree. He obtained his MS Realtors and Certified General Appraiser licenses and is currently associated as a commercial and residential real estate agent at Trihelm Properties.   

The couple will exchange vows on October 16 at Fondren Church in Jackson with a reception to follow at the Old Capitol Inn.  Following the wedding, the newlyweds will reside in Madison.
