Fourteen area players were named Mississippi Association of Coaches All-Stars on Tuesday afternoon. The senior players will play against the Alabama all stars on March 8th at the University of South Alabama, while the underclass players will play in the North/South all-star games at Mississippi College on March 15th. 

Five seniors were selected for the boys’ team in the Mississippi/Alabama all-star game. Navy signee JP Baldwin of Madison Central, Mississippi signee Jamarion Fleming of Canton, Itawamba CC signee Phil Nelson of Ridgeland, Jackson State signee Mike Williams of Germantown, and Dylan Rowe of Madison Central will all participate in the all-star game between Mississippi and Alabama’s best senior basketball players. 

Four juniors were selected for the North team on the boys’ 5A-7A side, while another four juniors were selected for the North team on the girls’ 5A-7A side.

Josiah Davidson and Khameron Snow of Ridgeland and Mason Williams and Sam Funches of Germantown were picked for the boys’ North team. Ayla Benson of Germantown, Alilyiah Morris of Madison Central, Shamira Morton of Canton, and Eva Young of Ridgeland were selected to play for the girls’ North team. 

The only player selected to play in the 1A-4A game was Morgan Thompson of Velma Jackson, who will play for the girls’ South team. 

The Mississippi/Alabama All-Star game will be on Saturday, March 8th at the University of South Alabama, with the girls’ game at noon and the boys’ game at 2 PM. The North/South all-star games will take place on Saturday, March 15th at Mississippi College, with the 1A-4A girls’ game starting at noon, the 1A-4A boys’ game starting at 1:30 PM, the 5A-7A girls’ game starting at 3 PM, and 5A-7A boys’ game starting at 4:30 PM.
