Chris McDaniel's campaign refunded $2,599 to a woman previously listed as a campaign staffer who's now one of the plaintiffs in a federal lawsuit alleging voter fraud in the June 24 U.S. Senate Republican primary, records show.

Council promotes Madison County's Creative Economy
A county-wide council works tirelessly to promote and celebrate Madison County's Creative Economy. In just two years, the Madison County Creative Economy Council (MCCEC) has presented two County wide after hours events and launched a website that was unveiled last fall. The website,www.madisoncountycreativeeconomy.com, can also be accessed from a tab on the County's website,www.madison-co.com.

Students win National Technology title in D.C.
Madison Middle School students Anna Brock, Haaris Patel and Rimika Banerjee placed first at the National Technology Student Association Competition in Washington, D.C., earlier this month. The three students earned their school's first-year TSA Club a national title by taking the gold in the Geospatial Technology category.
