RIDGELAND - Four Jackson men have been arrested in connection with a series of auto burglaries and vehicle thefts on County Line Road.

The arrests were made following an undercover operation by the Ridgeland Police Department with help from the Jackson Police Department.

Eddie L, Miller, 35, Alvin M. Lacey, 31, Kenyatta L. Stubbs, 29, and Patrick A Burnett, 28, all face multiple charges including three counts for auto burglary, two counts for motor vehicle theft, one for receiving stolen property and one for possession of a firearm by a felon.

They have all had their initial appearance with bond set for all four ranging from $300,000 to $350,000. They are scheduled for preliminary hearings on Tuesday, Dec. 21 at 1:30 p.m.

The four are accused in a rash of incidents that occurred from Dec. 5 through Dec. 9, including the theft of a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe and a 2008 Ford F-150 4-door. They also broke into multiple automobiles and stole items from inside.

A press release from the Ridgeland Police Department states that investigators were able to locate video surveillance footage from a local business which provided a description of the suspect's vehicle.

With that information officers began an undercover operation and on Dec. 10 at approximately 7:50 p.m. an officer assigned to the detail observed the suspect's vehicle enter the parking lot at 1536 E. County Line Road.

Additional units were called in and the suspects were arrested without incident.

After their arrests officers located items inside their vehicle which had been reported stolen in the previous auto burglaries in Ridgeland.
