Odie Wayne Prisock, 72, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at home in Madison. Services were held Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville and interment was in Craig Springs Cemetery in Oktibbeha County.

Mr. Prisock was born Aug. 25, 1940, to Erskin and Velma Scarborough Prisock. He graduated from Starkville High School and was a member of the Mississippi National Guard for six years. Wayne was a home builder and land developer while living in Starkville. He was a member of the Home Builders Association in Starkville and served as the first president of this organization. After moving to Madison, he became a member of First Baptist Church Madison. He was the owner of Prisock Company, a member of the Canton Lodge #28 F&AM Masonic Lodge and a past Worthy Patron of Canton Chapter #58 OES.

Survivors include his wife, Ellen Dane Ellis Prisock of Madison; daughter, Stephanie Nix of Ridgeland; son, Stephen Prisock of Madison; three grandchildren; brother, Prude Prisock of Starkville; and two nieces.
