Mr. Billy Lee Fisher, Sr., age 76, died March 14, 2014, at Hospice Ministries.

A funeral service celebrating his life was at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 17, 2014, at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment was in Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Fisher was born Dec. 29, 1937, in Vaiden and is the son of the late Ben Fisher and the late Minnie McCorkle Fisher. He graduated from Vaiden High School, earned an Associate Degree from Holmes Community College and a Business Degree from Mississippi State University and attended the School of Banking at the University of Mississippi.

He served in the U.S. Army National Guard in Starkville and Grenada and was employed by Commercial Credit in Grenada before retiring as Branch Manager at Trustmark Bank after 34 years of employment. He was a member of St. Matthews United Methodist Church.

Mr. Fisher is survived by his wife Louise Anderson Fisher of Madison; children, Lynne Fisher of Ridgeland, Lydia Fisher Specht (David) of Portland, Ore. and Billy Lee Fisher, Jr. (Linda) of Madison, grandson, Andrew Fisher and sisters, Juanita Taylor of Greenwood, Sarah Rimmer of Greenwood and Nora Hobart of Clarksdale.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be made to Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi 800 Avery BLVD Suite 100 Ridgeland, MS 39157.
