Mr. Andrew Webster "Webb" Stribling, 81, of Madison, passed away Sept. 18, 2013. Services were held Sept. 21, 2013, at Natchez Trace Funeral Home.

Mr. Stribling was born on March 17, 1932, in Gulfport to William Bradley and Vida Williams Stribling. Mr. Stribling graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi, where he played trumpet in the school band and was a member of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity.

In 1954, he married Barbara J. Lenaz. He began his career with Sears Roebuck, later becoming involved in the finance business and still later in home construction. He retired in Madison, where he was a member of First Baptist Church. In the early 1990s, he began turning wood and earned membership in the Craftsmen's Guild.

He later served as president of the MS Woodturners's Association. His work is well known and admired in the Jackson area.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.

Mr. Stribling is survived by his wife, Barbara Stribling; daughters, Ellen Stribling McCay, Jan Stribling Fortenberry and Andrea Stribling Maglisceau; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
