Madison's Easter Egg Hunt will be Saturday, April 8 at Strawberry Patch Park. The 9:30-11:30 a.m. event will be packed with

 activities for children up to age 8, who will hunt for eggs starting at 10 a.m. Bring your camera for photos with the Easter Bunny.

 The event is sponsored by the City of Madison, Broadmoor Baptist Church, Parkway Pentecostal Church and New Life Baptist Church.

Ridgeland Recreation & Parks is offering a Line Dancing Class every Monday evening.   Advanced Line Dancing Class will meet at 5 p.m. – 5:55 p.m.  Beginners Line Dancing will begin at 6-7 p.m. Classes will be held at the Ridgeland Recreational Center located at Old Trace Park. Senior Fit Club

Ridgeland Recreation & Parks’ is offering an exercise class for senior adults called SENIOR FIT CLUB, every Mondays and Wednesday afternoon, at the Ridgeland Recreational Center. This class offers low-impact exercises geared towards senior adults. Strengthen muscles and improve your movement for a healthier lifestyle.  This class is also good for those with Parkinson, multiple sclerosis, and other neurological diseases. The goal of this class is to improve balance, flexibility, and strength through stretching, light weights and light aerobic activity. Chapter Meeting

The Natchez Trace Parkway Association’s Mid-Mississippi Chapter Meeting on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at 6:30 p.m., at the Mississippi Craft Center, 950 Rice Road, Ridgeland, MS in the Harbor View Room.  Light refreshments will be available starting at 5:30 p.m.  Natchez Trace Parkway Superintendent, Mary Risser; Tony Turnbow, President of the Natchez Trace Parkway Association (NTPA); and Bryant Boswell, Chairman of the Mid-Mississippi Chapter of NTPA will provide updates and future activities. The NTPA partners with the National Park Service on various projects along the 444 miles of the Parkway.  You will have a chance to see the work that has taken place on the Old Trace behind the Craft Center. The Public is welcomed to attend the meeting.
