RIDGELAND, MS – On Sunday, April 16, Seafood R'evolution will celebrate the season with an extraordinary Easter Sunday Brunch. Bring in the whole family for fantastic dishes and some fun for the kids. Brunch will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., just as it is every Sunday. Dinner service will begin that evening at 5:30.
To start, guests might choose the famed Death by Gumbo, a hearty soup of roasted quail, andouille and filé rice; the classic Snapping Turtle Soup featuring deviled quail eggs and Madeira; or Seafood Gumbo, a year-round favorite. Guests might also choose signature appetizer dishes such as Beer-battered Crab Beignets, Charbroiled Oysters or Crab Deviled Eggs. Brunch sandwiches include Steak and Egg, featuring prime rib, caramelized onion, aged Cheddar, and eggs on French bread; and the Chicken Biscuit with buttermilk-battered chicken and sorghum molasses glaze.
Egg dishes include R’evolution Benedict of poached eggs, sugar-cured ham, a sweet corn biscuit and sriracha hollandaise; the Gulf Crab Omelet featuring crabmeat, Mascarpone, Creole cream cheese and roasted red pepper cream; or Pulled Pork Hash with potatoes, bell peppers, onions, Crystal hot sauce maple syrup and eggs. Of course, Creole Crab Cakes are a scrumptious option as well.
Entrée selections delight with down-home Gulf Shrimp and Grits alongside charred tomato velouté and tasso; our 20-hour House-smoked Brisket served with Cheddar jalapeño grits, braised greens, barbecue jus and fried onions; or the Sweet Potato Waffle – a savory and sweet treat with molasses butter, bourbon cane syrup and praline crumbles. Of course, on Easter Sunday we will also offer specials such as Buttermilk Fried Chicken with Waffles and Prime Rib of Angus Beef with roasted vegetables and Yorkshire pudding. And, what would brunch be without proper libations – Mimosa, Bloody Mary, Brandy Milk Punch, just to name a few.
