A fundraiser for DWELL Ministry at First Ridgeland could be the perfect night out.

The Community of Life Center will play host to an evening of dinner theater at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12 in the dining hall, with all proceeds going to benefit DWELL - the church’s program designed for intentional missional living.

The play “Tea for Three” by Elaine Bromka and Eric Weinberger focuses on three different First Ladies of the United States during the 1960s and 1970s. It’s described as a witty, sly and deeply moving script that explores the hopes and fears of Ladybird Johnson, Pat Nixon and Betty Ford.

It’s been hailed as an “intimate portrait of three celebrities” in what Nixon called “the hardest unpaid job in the world.”

Tickets are on sale now at www.firstridgeland.org. For more information, call the church at (601) 856-6139.
