At 2:49 this afternoon, Germantown High School received a bomb threat.  All procedures were followed:  the building was evacuated, the authorities were alerted and the Madison County Sheriff’s department responded immediately.  Multiple sweeps were conducted and the building was pronounced clear.

"We would like to thank local law enforcement, students and staff for their cooperation," Madison County Schools Superintendant, Dr. Ronnie McGehee said in a statement.
