MADISON — Police are looking for an unidentified male wanted in connection with the theft of over $14,000 in electronics from the Walmart here on March 3.

According to police, the unidentified man entered the store shortly after midnight wearing a light-colored jogging suit with the Dallas Cowboys logo on the front left pants pocket.

The individual is captured by surveillance cameras “removing various electronic devices from the store and taking the items out to the open area of the garden center,” police said.

The suspect is believed to have placed a large duffel bag outside of the garden center which he later used to fill with $14,215 worth of Nest Smart Thermostats, Nest Indoor and Outdoor security cameras, Canary Security Camera Systems, Netgear Wi-Fi equipment, Google Home Systems, doorbells with built-in security cameras, and smart smoke detectors.

Surveillance footage also captured the man walking across Grandview Boulevard.

Individuals with information on the identity of the suspect could receive up to $2,500 in rewards by calling Central Mississippi Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS(8477).
