Lifestyle Ladies offers a girls’ night out in Madison with tips for fashion, flowers, home design and makeup.

The first annual event presented by Madison the City Chamber of Commerce offers a potpourri of activities March 28, 5:30-8 p.m. at Madison Square Center for the Arts. A limited number of tickets are still available.

“Everything is totally geared to women,” said Elizabeth Tyler, executive director of the Chamber. “This is an opportunity for women to have a fun night out while sharing an evening of networking. This event grew out of the Chamber’s growing Women Connect networking group.”

Local businesswomen will share their expertise with makeup, flower arranging and tablescapes, and home design through 30-minute talks during the evening. Amy Head of Amy Head Cosmetics, Gina Diamond of Gina Diamond’s Flower Co. and Kim Rogers of Persnickety will offer tips and demonstrations.

“Amy Head is going to give us a really great makeup demonstration to show us how to create a beautiful no makeup, makeup routine that includes her favorites for spring and summer,” Tyler said.

Diamond will present a talk and demonstration on The Blooming Table.  “I will do floral tips, a centerpiece arrangement and offer ideas for the whole table including place settings, linens and chargers,” Diamond said.

Rogers will offer tips everyone can use for styling their homes, Tyler said.

A fashion show feature Chamber of Commerce members modeling the latest looks from Taylor Collection and Village Boutique in Madison.

The emcee for the evening’s events will be Cindy Cobb of Around the Town in the South, a local vlogger who shares her videos and blogs on her website, www.aroundthetowninthesouth.com and on social media. Local businesses will have displays providing information about their services. Parlour Rentals will transform the arts center to create a relaxed and casual evening out, Tyler said.

Heavy hors d’oeuvres and wine and tea are included in the ticket price.

Lifestyle Ladies tickets are $20 and can be purchased by calling the Chamber at 601-856-7060 or on the website, www.madisonthecitychamber.com under the events calendar. A ticket purchase automatically enters the holder into the evening’s drawings for door prizes.  Prizes include a signature facial, valued at $125, from Locus Med Spa at Mississippi Premier Plastic Surgery, gift cards from Massage Envy and Palm Beach Tan, plus more items.
