After a week one loss to Brandon, Madison Central bounced back with a solid 35-10 win over Ocean Springs. The Jaguars pounded away on the ground with 44 total rushing attempts for a total of 239 yards.

Junior quarterback Jimmy Holiday led the way with 12 carried for 112 yards and four rushing touchdowns. He also threw for 123 yards, completing 11 of 17 pass attempts with one touchdown.

The Jaguar defense was a wrecking crew. They sacked the Ocean Springs quarterback eight times, with senior Tyrese Swan making three of those sacks.They travel to D’Iberville this Friday.
