RIDGELAND — Pinebrook Apartments received final approval for exterior improvements last week.

The approval for the complex on Pine Knoll Drive was granted by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen.

The owners will be replacing and re-painting siding on the existing apartment buildings.

The recommendation from the Architecture Review Board includes four approved colors: pewter cast, bone, urbane bronze and rustic red.

In other news, the mayor and board:

• Approved a site plan and architectural review for Hagwood Aldeman Tipton office building in the Draperton Office Park at 910 Glastonbury Circle. It will be a brand new office building.

• Approved an application from the Police Department for a $9,293.76 grant through the Department of Public Safety set to reimburse overtime for saturation patrols conducted on seat belt, child restraint and speeding violations.

• Approved a grant application for fiscal year 2019 to reimburse the salaries of two DUI officers in the amount of $79,440.44 through DPS.

• Approved a contractor change order with B&B Electrical and Utility Contractors, Inc, extending the Highland Colony Parkway to Old Agency Parkway Traffic Signal another 31 days to January 31, 2018. The project awaits C Spire’s completion of work on Highland Colony Parkway.

• Declared a 1994 F350 and Hp Air Compressor 5.5 as surplus property to be sold.

• Approved a list of office supplies to be donated including: 56 three-ring binders, desk trays and organizers, 200 index cards, 10 packs of 100 color coding labels, “while you were away” notices, seven boxes of letter file folders, four boxes of hanging file folders, 70 top tab portrait oriented binders and 50 top tab landscape oriented binders.

• Received the November 2017 building license report.
