The Madison Police Department is asking for help from the public identifying an auto burglary suspect for an incident on April 5.

The Madison Police Department received two separate reports of purses being stolen from vehicles. The first incident occurred at a local retail shopping area and the second at a nearby park. Within minutes of the thefts being discovered the victims credit cards were used to make fraudulent purchases at retail stores in both Madison and North Jackson, police say.  The unidentified suspect seen in the photos is believed to have been driving a small silver passenger car, possibly a Hyundai.

Anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case would be eligible for a reward of up to $2,500.
