MADISON - Police say additional charges against a 28-year-old man already facing two gratification of lust counts may be added later this week.

Brandon Phillip Dixon, 28, of Jackson remains jailed at the Madison Detention Center on a $1 million bond following an initial hearing Monday before Judge Dale Danks.

Dixon is charged with two counts of gratification of lust involving young people in Madison. Police asked the age of the victims not be released at this time.

Two days after receiving an initial tip alleging inappropriate contact with underage children, Madison police, along with officials from multiple law enforcement agencies, began an investigation that resulted in an arrest on Aug. 28.

Dixon arrived at Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evars International Airport and was approached by law enforcement officials who served him with a search warrant.

At the time, Dixon was in the company of a minor child.
Police executed a search warrant and confiscated Dixon's electronic devices.

The Madison Police Department is not releasing specific information relating to the crimes at this time and urge anyone with further information regarding Dixon to contact the Police Department at 601-865-6111.
