The Canton Music Study Club held its last meeting for the 2013-2014 year at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at Grace Episcopal Church with president, Sandra Rawls presiding. The program for June was World War II, It's Music and Personal Stories, so appropriate for this date, as the nation was celebrating the 70th Anniversary of D-Day on June 6th.

Member Anne S. Fox shared war time stories of her family, and Ann Chambers told about her father's experiences. Cindy Addison gave information about war time song, "Praise the Lord" , and "Pass the Ammunition," by Frank Loesser and accompanied the members as it was sung. Ann Chambers played another popular war time song, "I'll Be Seeing You."

The following officers for 2013-2014 were elected and installed by former club president, Angela Teasley: president, Patricia Breeland; vice-president, Cecil Fox; recording secretary, Jennifer Lariviere; corresponding secretary, Ann Stubblefield; treasurer, Cecil Fox; parliamentarian, Sandra Rawls; public relations, Ann and Fred Clark; program chairman, Cecil Fox.

The meeting was adjourned following the singing of the Benediction.
