Organizers have planned a bone marrow donor drive for Sunday, April 21, for Danielle Stephens of Jackson. Stephens was recently diagnosed with MDS/AML, a form of blood cancer and she needs a bone marrow transplant.

Organizers are asking the community to help spread the word in hopes of finding a donor match. Anyone between the ages of 18-55 can register and potentially save a life. The entire process takes less than five minutes and involves registration and a cheek swab.

The bone marrow drive will be held from 2 p.m.-6 p.m. at Jackson Academy at 4908 Ridgewood Road in Jackson.
